Postpartum Support
Completely customizable postpartum visits. Postpartum services are billed at $40/hr* and visits generally last 3-4 hours. We’ll work together to create a postpartum plan that fits your family’s needs. I only work with up to 3 clients per month to maintain flexibility and provide my clients with the support they need, when they need it. We’ll consider the whole picture, including your budget, when we decide the best way to move forward together.
Postpartum services include a prenatal visit, before baby arrives, to create a postpartum plan, discuss concerns, answer questions, and put emotional and physical supports into place.
During each postpartum visit we will address your whole family’s immediate needs, answer questions and discuss actionable solutions to challenges as they arise. I can assist with:
Baby care (diapering, swaddling, soothing, safe sleep, babywearing, feeding, bathing.)
Pet care
Light housekeeping (laundry, errands, dishes, surface cleaning, trash, high traffic floors)
Meal prep (I bring groceries and prep meals in your kitchen)
Helping parents and caregivers rest.
Processing the emotional and physical experience of becoming a parent
Practicing self-care
When you book Little Bud to support you postpartum, I’m available via text to answer questions and provide resources and referrals.
*Budget constraints? Let me know and we’ll find a way to work within them.
I am not currently offering overnight support. Visits must occur between the hours of 7:00 AM and 10:00 pm.
Gestation, Labor & Birth Support
A prenatal visit, text and phone support, continuous labor support, and a Postpartum Visit.
When you work with Little Bud for your birth experience, support begins before labor. We meet prenatally, build your birth plan, and talk comfort measures to use in early labor.
After you book, I’m available via text and phone to provide reassurance, referrals, and suggestions for preparation and comfort. I’m on call for in-person support beginning at 38 weeks.
Once I join you in labor, I will stay by your side throughout the entire process, for up to two hours after baby is born. I assist with comfort and relaxation, support your partner(s), protect your space, help you advocate for your plan and preferences, and provide evidence based and science backed information about procedures and medical interventions.
Immediately postpartum, I can assist with facilitating skin-to-skin, golden hour bonding, and first feedings. A week after your baby’s birth I’ll come to you, and we’ll process your experiences, address concerns, and I’ll provide resources and referrals.
Birth Doula Services start at $1500. Customizable services are available. Let’s talk about the best plan for your birth.
Fertility and Family Building Support
Family building can be overwhelming and isolating–Especially when your family planning requires donor gametes and assistive reproductive technology from the start.
Taking steps towards making a baby requires a lot of decisions, preparation, planning, and backup planning. Family building doula support can help you navigate all of your options, help you prepare for what is coming, advocate for yourself in appointments and provide resources to you to help you along the way.
Family Building Consultation: $200, 90 minutes.
Where do we/I even start? A 90 minute virtual consultation where we will work together to make plan for how you’ll begin or continue your family building process. You’ll get an email after the session with resources, referrals, product recommendations, and a step by step plan for how to move forward towards your goals.
Virtual Family Building Support: $50-$200/month sliding scale
Text, phone and email support, whenever you need it
Cycle tracking assistance and education
Continued referrals to helpful resources
Check-ins before and after appointments and fertility events
Education about options and alternatives to procedures that may be necessary in your fertility care
Virtual Family Building Support with additional in Person Support. $150-$350/month sliding scale
As our schedules can mutually accommodate, I will attend fertility appointments or events to provide emotional and physical support and help facilitate proceedings. OR
We can meet monthly, in person, to check in about fertility progress, adjust plans and process any feelings that may come up in response to fertility treatments.
